Plot : (500) Days of Summer, a comedy film directed by Stephan Elliott, is about a woman who doesn't believe in the existence of true love, even though a young man falls for her. Tom (Joseph Gordon-Levitt), who earns a living as a greeting-card writer, is totally devastated when his girlfriend, Summer (Zooey Deschanel), suddenly dumps him for no apparent reason. While trying to find out the reasons that caused their love affair to become dull, Tom remembers the 500 days he spent together with Summer. The flashback scenes show the non-linear manner in which the romance between the two developed, as seen from Tom’s point of view.
