Plot : 50 First Dates is a romantic comedy directed by Peter Segal. The movie revolves around Henry Roth (Adam Sandler) is a womanizing marine life veterinarian who lives in a Hawaiian paradise. He is afraid of commitment thus he spends most of his time taking care of the sea animals at Sea Life Park in Hawaii and dating tourists who are looking for vacation romance. He doesn’t date the locales as it could become an obstruction in his dream of studying the underwater life of walruses in Alaska. His dream is close to coming true when his sailing vessel develops a fault. In the meantime, he meets Lucy Whitmore (Drew Barrymore) in a café. She is an art teacher and after chatting with her about waffles and sea mammals, he falls for her. They decide to meet the next morning in the same café. On the next morning, Lucy refuses to recognize him and its then that he comes to know that she’s suffering from short term memory loss and for her each day is October 13. He is desperate to get her, even though he would have to start afresh each day.
